Encens Mythique D’orient by Guerlain Perfume.
The scent is a blend of earthy musk and sweet spices. The top notes are saffron, aldehydes and rose for a rich floral opening that is followed by central notes of pink pepper, patchouli and vetiver for a distinctive oriental feel reminiscent of spice markets. The base notes ground the fragrance in woody notes and the warmth of ambergris. While this is all about the incense, it is never cloying or heavy. The aldehydes give it a light, ozone freshness that is unusual in an oriental scent. Thierry Wasser created this rich, mysterious fragrance.
